A cheery wave from Peru. The Incas were incredible engineers building walls with no 'cement' but locking massive stones together like a jigsaw. The walls are still standing centuries later. This photograph was taken by our expert and lovely guide Flaminia from Cusco. The most impressive remains left by the Incas were at Machu Picchu which we visited at eight in the morning in thick mist and rain. Happily after a very interesting tour the sun came out.
