Beauty is Fragile
Our beautiful world is under serious threat from mankind whose greed and selfishness is interfering dramatically with natures's balance. In the name of 'progress' we are changing that loveliness into a scarred and disfigured landscape. This fragility is symbolised in this photograph I took in Venice: the bubble represents the earth's transience and the clown, the folly of mankind.
Wherever you look there are lovely things to see: grand vistas of sea and sky or smaller snapshots like a swath of bluebells in a wood. Many constructions made by humans can also be beautiful.
